Dark Shadows

I saw Dark Shadows last night. My little take on it:
First, it looked great visually. It’s filmed in the UK and supposed to take place in Maine. The geology student in me picked up on that fake-ness in the opening credits 
It was beautiful though and I’d love to live there.
The plot itself is not the greatest story. The fun in the film for me was watching Depp’s character and how he reacted. Not gonna give any spoilers. It was hilarious to say the least. The guy had a lot of really funny lines!
The other actors were great also, but nothing outstanding. I love Helena B Carter! She was typical her. Any film with her in it gets an upvote from me.
The costumes were to drool over. Loved em!!
I’d say its worth to see it in theatre if you love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Otherwise, wait for DVD.
